About Americinn By Wyndham Stacy
Mid-priced, limited service hotel AmericInn is one of the latest brand additions of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts after a successful $170 million acquisition from Northcott Hospitality in July 2017. It became the chain’s 20th hotel brand.
Media reported that Wyndham Hotel Group president and CEO Geoff Ballotti said that the brand’s high quality impressed them with more than 85% of its hotels obtaining a guest satisfaction index of four stars or more from major booking portals.
Founded in 1984, the American hotel franchise based in the suburban Twin Cities is present in over 240 locations throughout the U.S, mostly in the Midwestern. From a single franchise, the hotel founded by Jim Graves expanded to 20 in Minnesota and Wisconsin in just six years. By the year 2000, the company has grown to 240 motels, where over 80% of its properties located in the Upper Midwest.
Each AmericInn hotel features 14 various types of guest rooms, as well as a recreation area with a pool and whirlpool. To minimize noise, all its rooms were built with concrete slabs, heavy drywall between rooms, sound deadening foam, and masonry block. Its signature ‘AmericInn Perk’ is also being offered as a complimentary breakfast. It includes eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, pastries, waffles, cereals, fruit, and juice.
