Suan Phueng – A City of Bees
Don’t worry – there are no bees buzzing around the city ready to attack in Suan Phueng, Thailand. The city’s name is in reference to the fact that there are lots of Phueng trees found in the district. These trees are favored by bees in building their hives. Literally, the word translates to “bee garden” – but you should be perfectly safe from insects while in the area.
Best Time to Visit
Close to the equator, Suan Phueng, TH is primarily warm throughout the year. Ideal months to book accommodations are from April to June when the weather is at its friendliest. For cheap accommodations however, hotel and air fare rates are at their cheapest from November onwards. If you book during the right time, you might be lucky enough to take part in their Fruit Festival or the Gypsy Carnival, the former usually taking place in February. The Fruit Festival is a particular favorite among tourists as you encounter and taste exotic fruit items growing only in Asia.

For places that will keep everyone in the family entertained, you can also spend the day at The Resort Water Park or perhaps the Wat Nong Kham.
