Best Time to Visit
Expansions were also applied to the airport to be able to accommodate more passengers, which include the extension of its runway’s current length. The year 2018 was a good year for Qingdao Liuting International Airport. It was recognized as the 15th busiest airport in China with 24.53 million passengers traffic during that year. However, due to the lack of space where the airport can expand to further increase its capacity, the government approved the construction of the Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport that will eventually replace TAO. Lingshanwei is a nearby local destination tourists visit when close to the airport.
