The Israel Trade Fairs and Convention Center, Tel Aviv, Israel
The Israel Trade Fairs and Convention Center is more than just a landmark in Tel Aviv. The huge facility is host to numerous regional, national, and international events since it opened in 1959. At present, the center in Rokach Boulevard is known as Expo Tel Aviv. Owned by the Tel Aviv YafoMuncpalty, the fair ground covers 75 hectares of land converted into indoor and outdoor exhibition venues. One of its largest facilities is the theatre, which features a 360-degree stage with 9,628 seating capacity. The Israel Trade Fars and Conventon Center’s most recent renovation occurred in 2011. It is also home to Luna Park, an amusement park.
The Expo Tel Aviv is accessible via Ayalon Highway and the Tel Aviv University Train Station. It has easy access to other towns and cities including Petah and Rishpon. Many hotels, landmarks and attractions are located around the Israel Trade Fairs and Convention Center. The Hotel Indigo Tel Aviv-Diamond District is a known property with pool in the area. It has stylish, modern rooms with sophisticated amenities and a restaurant. Attractions nearby include the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and the Cameri Theater, one of the most popular theatres in the country, built in 1944.
