Tirana International Airport Nene Tereza in Tirana, Albania, also known as Rinas International Airport serves as the main hub for air transportation in the Republic of Albania. It is an international airport that serves the metropolitan area of Tirana as well as many other surrounding regions of the county. Named after Mother Teresa, a nun and missionary from Albania, it is situated 11 kilometers north of the main CBD. The airport connects international flights to Europe mostly to Rome, Milan and Istanbul.
