Tsuen Wan: A City Where Both the Old Traditions and Modernization Merge
Tsuen Wan is a city built along Hong Kong’s Western New Territories, across the Tsing Yi Island. It is a densely populated area that is serviced by many MTR lines. Despite the modernization happening in this place, visitors can still experience a traditional small fishing town vibe in some of its areas. It also still showcases a thriving textile industry amidst the high-rise buildings.
Best Time to Visit
Tsuen Wan accommodations must be booked in advance for those who will be going to Hong Kong during the months of December and January. The month of December is the peak month at Disney World while January offers a festive celebration of Chinese New Year that draws a lot of tourists every year.
