UNSAAC Yale International Center, Cusco, Peru
UNSAAC Yale International Center was established by Yale University and UNSAAC or Universidad Nacional de San Antonio Abad del Cusco. It is located in the town of Cusco, Peru. The said center was meant for the purpose of studying Machu Pichu and Inca Culture. It is also dedicated for the purpose of displaying, conserving and studying the Machu Pichu tribe. Today, it is displaying an archeological collection that was curated by Yale and Peabody Museum. The collection was excavated in 1912. Peru government and Yale returned the artifacts and housed it in the museum of Cuco. The partnership agreement is fulfilling the mission which displays the collection and disseminates knowledge on the tribe. The agreement will ensure the continuous research and public appreciation of the Machu Pichu.
UNSAAC Yale International Center is surrounded by the cities of Cusco and San Blas. There are other attractions surrounding the international center.
