It was created by the Breton Family-owned company named CouédicMadoréback in 1993, manufacturer of slaughter and boning, meat-cutting equipment in Rennes. It grew from being provider of hotel accommodations in Rennes up to the rest of France by 40% in December 2009.
It now has 120 hotels, with 6,000 rooms with 20 subsidiaries across France. This network has ranges: Essential, Comfort and Privilege.
