What to Do & Area Attractions
The most imposing piece of architecture in Valence is the Cathedral of Saint-Apollinaire, which was built by Pope Urban II in 1095. The structure met much damage during the Wars of Religion and was repaired during the 17th century. Close by is the Champ de Mars stretching over to a beautiful view of the Rhône.
