Vapi: Exploring India’s City fo Chemicals
Dubbed as the “City of Chemicals,” Vapi, India is home to the biggest industrial area in the state of Gujarat that mainly focuses on the chemical industry. This made the town the second most polluted place in India back in 2008, but today, Vapi has dramatically reduced their pollution emissions.
Best Time to Visit
Vapi experiences tropical weather, marked with only three seasons: summer, winter, and monsoon. The summer season of June to August is surprisingly the rainiest of the year. It rains about seven to 15 days a month during this season. That said, tourists are less likely to visit the town by this time of year, so expect less crowded Vapi, India hotels. On the other hand, the winter season, particularly in December and January, are packed with tourists, as there are typically no rains during these months.
