Williams: From Being a Timber Product Center to Tourist Destination
Incorporated in the year 1922, Williams is a city located at the county of Lake of the Woods in the state of Minnesota. The city became what we know it today after the Manitoba and Minnesota Railroad was established, making it a timber product center. Despite the disastrous fire called Baudette fire (wild fire) occurring on 1910, it came back up and was rebuilt afterwards.
