Penticton Regional Airport – YYF
Another regional airport in the British Columbia province of Canada is the Penticton Regional Airport. It serves the greater area of Penticton, BC and a small portion of neighboring areas such Similkameen, West Kootenay, and South Okanagan. In the early 1940s, YYF-Penticton Regional Airport was an airfield used for emergency landings during the war. Only by 1945 was the airport officially opened for commercial use.
Best Time to Visit
Penticton Regional Airport (YYF), like many regional airports, only has one passenger terminal and a single runway.
