Zhongshan: Road to China’s Modernization
Zhongshan, China is another one of China’s prefectural cities and is located in the province of Guangdong. It remains one of the cities in the country to be named after a person, Sun Zhongshan – the founding father of the Republic of China. Dating back early 1900s, it was called “Xiangshan or Heung-san” literally translated as “fragrant mountain.” Interesting tourist spots around the city include both old-fashioned historical and modern infrastructures.
