Augusta Regional Airport – AGS Augusta
August Regional Airport is located south of Augusta, Georgia in the county of Richmond. It was formerly known as Bush Field Airport. In 2007, AGS- Augusta Regional Airport was renovated and redesigned to better serve its passengers. The architecture and suburban landscape of the facility has made it a “County Club Airport” Today, the airport is serving airlines like American Eagle and Delta Airlines. To increase passenger usage, lower fares from the airport are available. It has been successful over the past years. Delta Connection has a convenient and non-stop service that connects the city to different parts of the world.

Augusta Regional Airport is not only serving the city of Augusta but also Appling and Fort Gordon. The commercial airport is considered as a general aviation airport in the state. During the holidays and tournament week, there are free concert series that entertain the passengers. In the terminal area, there are public art displays that are open to the public at any time of the day. There is also the bronze statue of the great golfer Raymond Floyd that greets the passengers the moment they step on the airport.
