Anuha Airport – ANH Anuha
An airport serving Anuha, Solomon Islands, Anuha Island Resort Airport or Anuha Airport is within Anuha Island with an airport code ANH listed in the International Airway Transport Association. Anuha Islands is one of the 6 major islands the Solomon Islands governs, a sovereign state, popular due to its collection of volcanic islands and coral atolls in Melanesia. It is the main gateway to get to the beaches surrounding the island.

Anuha Airport (ANH) has an above mean sea level elevation of 6.70 meters. It mainly serves the island resort, bringing in tourists from all over the world wanting to explore the untouched vibes of the beaches around it. This airfield has been closed down and is being lplanned to spring back to life after 30 years. It has been named by travellers as “Pear of the Solomons”. When Anuha Island Resort was closed down, the numbers of passengers booking a flight to and from ANH went downhill. However, in October 2018 investors started to clock in and plan on redeveloping the said airport to bring tourism back in Anuha Island. Also visit the nearby Honiara.

There are no nearby hotels from the ANH. However, in the city of Honiara, you can book a room or suite at the Heritage Park Hotel, which offers airport transportation (surcharge) and laundry facilities.
Another airport more active than ANH serving Solomon Islands is Honiara International Airport (HIR), which mainly serves Honiara – the capital of Solomon Islands. The other alternate airport tourists can get a flight to this sovereign state is Munda Airport which is also an international airport, which was originally built by the Japanese forces during World War II.
