Loakan Airport – BAG Baguio
Serving the general area of Baguio City, Loakan Airport is the only airport in the Cordillera and was built in 1934. The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines classified it as a minor domestic airport. Commercial airlines operated in the airport before ceasing operations in 1990 after a 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit Luzon. The city government of Baguio eyes the reopening of the airport in 2020 that will cater to domestic flights. As of today, the presidential chopper and the Philippine Air Force are using Loakan Airport.

Airport authorities said that the number of residents within the parameter has doubled over the years making it difficult to keep people away from the place.
