Bang Yai –is a district located under the Province of Nonthaburi, Thailand. This district was originally a minor district removed from Bang Kruai and Bang Bua and was elected as a full district around 1921. Originally, its name was Bang Mae Nang and was renamed on the 19th of October 1930. It has a population of 147,351 people with an area of 3,959 sq. mi. The district’s gateway is through Bangkok, Thailand - Don Mueang International Airport (DMK).
