Baotou Airport – BAV Baotou, China
Located 11.5 miles from the downtown of Baotou, China is the Baotou Airport (BAV). It serves Baotou in Inner Mongolia as well as other nearby cities and villages. It was constructed in 1934 and during WWII, the airport was occupied by Japan.The airport is classified as a 4D airport which supports aircraft up to the size of Boeing 737-900 and Boeing 767-300ER on its asphalt runway which is equipped at both ends with the latest lighting system.
