Bellaire: Into the Set of The Silence of The Lambs
Located in Belmont County, Ohio stands the village of Bellaire. Its now-defunct toll bridge was featured in the widely popular The Silence of The Lambs thriller movie. The Shawnee, Mingo, and Delaware tribes resided in the place before the European settlement. The town's local economy flourished during the establishment of the Central Ohio Railway that soon became a part of the Baltimore and Ohio Railway.
