Borkum Airfield - BMK
Borkum Airport is a public airport located in Borkum, Germany. It serves the areas of Borkum, an island that is located in the state of Lower Saxony in Leer District. BMK Airport is currently under the management of the Wirtschaftsbetriebe der Stadt Borkum GmbH. It sits a meter above mean sea level and serves regular charter flights and schedules flights to Emden. At present, the OFD Ostfriesicher-Flug-Dienst is the only airline operating in the airport. The airport features three runways, two of which are still grass runways.
