Best Time to Visit
There are two passenger terminals in Brisbane Airport, one for international flights and the other for domestic flights. The international terminal was built in 1995, and made headlines in 2018 by being the world’s first airport to offer a Bitcoin payment service that was also adopted by a majority of the shops within the terminal. As the country’s best-connected domestic airport, Brisbane Airport is the gateway to other Australian cities like the Gold Coast and its many suburbs, including Coolangatta and Sovereign Island.
