One of the most famous nearby attractions is the Archaeological Museum of Pella. Completed in 2009, its building was the work of architect Kostas Skroumpellos. It has five main thematic exhibits, including the daily life of Pella, findings from Pella’s cemeteries, mosaics from Pella’s sanctuaries, palace gallery, and public life in Pella.
