Best Time to Visit
It’s best to visit Cottesloe from October to April. Although, generally the weather in Cottesloe is pleasant enough, there are cold winds that blow across the beaches. In March, Cottesloe has a Sculpture by the Sea exhibition where the seaside is transformed into works of art.
What to Do & Area Attractions
Cottesloe Beach is a favorite attraction and crowd pleaser when in the suburb. While at the beach, visit the Marine Parade to cool down with a drink or eat a meal. Outside of Cottesloe, another favorite destination is the Kings Park and Botanic Garden, which is ranked as the world’s largest and most beautiful inner city park. Elizabeth Quay has a lot of attractions in itself. There are many activities that both kids and adults will enjoy including eating in different cafes, going on cruises, exercising, and playing at the playground. Come nighttime, stay at the Cottesloe Beach Chalets, which is only a minute away from the beach and also boasts of an outdoor pool. Sunny and vibrant is the Cottesloe Beach Hotel with 13 rooms all featuring a private balcony with panoramic views of the beach and Rottnest Island.
