The name of the airport was previously called Daxian Airport. It has an IATA code of DAX and is being catered by 5 airlines, namely Tibet Airlines, Air China, Sichuan Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, and Colorful Guizhou Airlines. As of the moment, DAX Airport serves domestic flights only. There are no future plans for international flights to Dazhou, yet.
