Named after MKT Depot Vice President George Denison, the town of Denison, TX was built where the rivers of MKT and Red Rivers meet. Because it lay close to the main channels of transportation during the town's industrial age, Denison became the West's major commercial hub in the 19th century. Denison is reported to be the home to over 22,000 residents and is the proud birthplace of American President Dwight D. Eisenhower and the Marx Brothers.
