Duluth International Airport is owned by the city of Duluth, Minnesota, United States. Duluth International Airport serves as joint civil-military airport. Mostly used for general aviation but also served by three airlines, it is Minnesota's third-busiest airport, following Minneapolis – St. Paul International Airport (MSP) and Rochester International Airport.

DLH-Duluth International Airport was purchased by the city of Duluth from Saint Louis County in 1929. The airport was built on 640 acres of land with two runways. In 1930, it was named as Williamson–Johnson Municipal Airport. Right after the World War 2, the two runways become three and it was expanded in terms of length and width. Williamson–Johnson Municipal Airport was renamed by the Duluth Airport Authority Board to Duluth International Airport.
