Eldoret International Airport – EDL Eldoret
Eldoret International Airport is a public-used civilian airport located in Eldoret City, Uasin Gishu County in Kenya with an international airport code of EDL. The airport is the main airport that controls the air traffic operations of the entire city of Eldoret and its nearby cities of Kabsabet, Nandi and Webuye. Eldoret International Airport was opened to the public in 1995 headed by Kenya Airports Authority which also the owner and operator of nine other airports in Kenya. As of 2013, the airport has a nearly 111,200 passengers enplanement making it one of Kenja’s busiest landing field.
