The city being a town by the coast, it is best to visit it during good weather, which is during June to July. You can enjoy attractions and tourist spots during fair and warm weather. However, if you are not a big fan of the rain, avoid the month of August, it being the wettest month of the year. Tourism in the city would likely increase during June, as well as hotel rates.
