Founded in 2007, Georgia Sea Turtle Center is Georgia’s one and only sea turtle rehabilitation, research and education facility. It sits on Jekyll Island, home of over 400 hectares of maritime forest, 16 kilometers of shoreline, and top-notch researchers and biologists. By exploring the Center, you’ll learn about the lives of the sea turtles and also how they are treated in a hospital designated to them and other native animals.
