Gravenhurst, Canada: A Town Embraced by Lakes
Despite the many lakes around the town of Gravenhurst, Canada in the likes of Lake Muskoka, Gull Lake and the not so distant Kahshe Lake, it was not named after these bodies of water. Instead, it was named from William Smith's "Thoughts on Good and Evil" or simply Gravenhurst by a postal man. This place was also known to some as McCabe's Landing and the Sawdust City thereafter.
