The Gusman Center for the Performing Arts is an events space and a cultural venue now known as Olympia Theater. Situated in Miami, Florida, this place opened its doors in 1926 as a theater with a Mediterranean-style design. It has since become a tourist landmark in Miami, with a designation under the National Register of Historic Places in the mid-1980s. Business tycoon Maurice Gusman was responsible for saving the theater from demolition in 1975.
