Founded in 1879, Hamilton is a city located in Greenwood Count of Kansas in the United States. The city has a population of 268 as of the 2010 census. Initially, it was planned to be named Fullerton, but another community had already laid claim to that name. In honor of the late Alexander Hamilton, the city of Hamilton in Kansas was founded. The economy in the city is rooted in agriculture and oil. The closest way to the town is through the Kansas City International Airport.

So the best time to visit is from May until October when the weather is comfortably warm and has limited to little rainfall.
