Huntsville, Utah is a town that is part of the Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area, founded by Jefferson Hunt in the year 1860. It has a total land area of 1.7 square kilometers. Two of the most awaited events in the town are the Independence Day Celebration and the Huntsville Marathon. The community prepares varying forms of entertainment from competitions, to parades, up to a wide array of food choices during the Independence Day Celebration, July 4, along with an impressive fireworks display at night. The Huntsville Marathon, on the other hand, is an annual; event that was started in the year 2012 to raise funds for the Huntsville Town, Eden and Liberty Park and other neighboring areas, as well as Weber Fire Fighters Cance Survivors, and Make-A-Wish Foundation. This is done during September.
