Best Time to Visit
It’s best to visit the island of Ilha Grande during the middle of the year when the weather is most comfortable. This is usually around June or August when there is little precipitation. These months are also the busiest time, so expect plenty of tourists and higher hotel rates.

There are a lot of stunning beaches in Ilha Grande, Brazil. These include Palmas Beach, Dois Rios Beach, and Aventureiro Beach. Also on the island is the Ilha Grande State Park, one of the richest ecosystems in the whole world and holds many endangered species. Another interesting site to visit is the Museu do Cárcere.
