Zilina Airport under Letisko Zilina is a public airport that serves the areas of Zilina, Slovakia. It is located 6.2 miles of the main city in the village of Dolny Hricov in the northern regions of Slovania. The airport sits 311 meters above mean sea level and is currently being used to serve international and domestic flights in the area. Built in the 1970s, it was mainly constructed to be able to replace the old Brezovsky Majer Airport to accommodate the growing needs of Zilina.
