Jaipur International Airport – JAI
Jaipur International Airport is located in Sanganer, India. It works under the IATA Code JAI and the ICAO code VIJP. Owned by the local government, it is operated by the Airports Authority of India. It serves the city of Jaipur and the surrounding areas. Jaipur International Airport is the hub for Supreme Airlines and Alliance Air. It is also a focus city for India’s SpiceJet. There are two runways. The main runway, runway 1 has a concrete and asphalt surface and is 11,500 feet long. Runway 2 is 5,223 feet long. From April 2018 to March 2019, the airport handled more than 5.4 million passengers and 46,185 aircraft movements. It is also an important cargo hub for the area and in the same time period, it handled 18,513 metric tonnes of cargo.
Best Time to Visit
There are two terminals. Before renovations were completed, Runway 1 was designated for cargo arrivals. After upgrades, Terminal 1 became the designated terminal for international arrivals and departures. Some of the busiest airlines that serve Jaipur International Airport include IndiGo, SpiceJet, GoAir, and Alliance Air. Top domestic destinations are Ahmedabad, Delhi, Goa, and Bhopal. International destination includes Dubai. Cities, towns, suburbs, and villages found near the airport include Kookas, Pink City, Neemrana, and Jamwa Ramgarh.

There are a number of great hotels that are easily accessible from the Jaipur International Airport. These include the well-reviewed Radisson Blu Jaipur and the Jaipur Marriott Hotel. Both of these are less than 10 minutes from the airport. Another nearby airport hotel is The Lalit Jaipur.
