Jorhat Airport, also commonly known as the Rowriah Airport, is an airport that serves the city of Jorhat, India, which is considered to be one of the most important cities in the state of Assam. Found 4 miles south of the city center, the airport is a civil enclave, which means it is located within a military base yet used for civilian aviation. It is served by the IndiGo airline with flights to Kolkata and Guwahati in India. The Jorhat Airport is owned and operated by the Airports Authority of India, which works under the government’s Ministry of Civil Aviation.
