Kaeng Krachan: Exploring the Home of Thailand’s Biggest National Park
The district of Kaeng Krachan, Thailand, is part of the province of Phetchaburi, in the western portion of the country. It was established as a minor district back in 1988, following the split of the tambons Song Phi Nong, Kaeng Krachan, and Wang Chan from the district of Tha Yang. You can find several hotels and accommodations already established in the city.
Best Time to Visit
Kaeng Krachan experiences hot weather for the majority of the year, with six months marked with cold rains. If you want to experience the outdoors, best to book your Kaeng Krachan, Thailand hotels between months early December to mid-February. These months are typically the most visited as the winter season has the most comfortable temperatures for the entire year. On the contrary, if you happen to visit in the summer, expect fewer tourists and hotter temperatures.
