Francisco Primo de Verdad National Airport– LOM
The now defunct Francisco Primo de Verdad National Airport, also commonly known as the Lagos de Moreno Airport, was a domestic public airport that used to serve the city of Lagos de Moreno, Mexico in the province of Jalisco. The airport was a direct entry into the city, which is known for its Historic Centre City that was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Best Time to Visit
For its former operations, the LOM-Francisco Primo de Verdad National Airport used a single asphalt runway that measured 3,937 feet in length. The airport is named after Francisco Primo de Verdad y Ramos, a well-known lawyer and politician in Mexico who advocated for independence from Spain. Leon is a nearby city to visit from the airport.
