Minakami, Japan- A true Urban Oasis
An hour away from the busy city of Tokyo, Japan is where Minakami is located. A mountainous hot spring located in the heart of Japan, Gunma prefecture. Best Time to Visit
The place is a perfect destination for a vacation any time of the year, but the best time to visit Minakami is during the months of April, May and October. The weather is not too hot or too cold. Minakami is crowded the most during the month of January, tourists who enjoy skiing would prefer to visit this time of the year. Thus, air tickets and accommodations are highly expensive for this month so make sure to book your tickets in advance. The place is also crowded during June to attend the Minakami Outdoor Festival, one of Japan’s biggest events for outdoor sports.
