Mildura Airport – MQL Mildura
Mildura Airport, a public-used airport located in Mildura, Victoria in Australia with an airport code of MQL. It is a city-owned airport but was being operated by Mildura Airport Property Limited and was the primary airport servicing the aviation needs the entire city of Mildura. Mildura Airport is Victoria’s busiest regional landing zone and Australia’s 32nd most active airport as of 2015 and was twice been recognized as the country’s Rural Airport of the Year. In 1961, the airport was used in “Project HIBAL” by the United States Atomic Energy Commission and the Australian Government. And in 1967, it was the venue for the balloon launch of French National Center for Scientific Research.

Mildura Airport has two asphalt runways and its terminal facilities have been renovated in September of 2012 that completely modernized the look of the airport and has increase the size to accommodate the growing number of passengers’ year on year. The airport’s air flight passenger’s service was being catered by QantasLink, Regional Express and Virgin Australia to destination such as Melbourne, Adelaide and Broken Hill.
