Mardin Airport – MQM Turkey
Mardin Airport is a public use civil airport operated by the General Directorate of State Airports Administration of Turkey. Located in the town of Kızıltepe in Mardin, Turkey, MQM Airport was officially opened in 1999, handling scheduled flights to and from Ankara. Major upgrades have been added to the airport during its renovation in 2014 to provide passengers more convenience and better service. Mardin Airport handles flights to and from four destinations thru Turkish Airlines, AnadoluJet and Pegasus Airlines. Every scheduled flight nearly has 100% occupancy, and the number of passengers who fly through MAZ grows by the day.

Mardin Airport (MQM) is located 8 miles from the city, and can be reached thru minibus, car rentals and commercial taxis. It has a concrete runway with a length of 2,500 meters, a taxiway that measures 170x24 meters, and an apron that can hold up to four aircraft units. Those who wish to fly in to MQM from Puerto Rico’s capital San Juan can explore and enjoy places such as the Mardin City Center and the Kasimiye Medresesi in Mardin.
