Moruya Airport – MYA Moruya
Moruya Airport is situated South Wales four miles northeast of Moruya, Australia. Royal Australian Air Force started the airport in 1942 naming it as RAAF Base Moruya. Moruya is known for black swans that scatter in the lakes and rivers. It is also known for granite stone that is used in many Australian landmarks. Eurobodalla Shire Council runs the operation of the airport.

Moruya Airport is a public airport with one asphalt runway measuring 4,997 feet and one bitumen runway measuring 2,713 feet. Three runways were established next to the Moruya River. The airport is served by Regional Express that goes to Merimbula and Sydney. It has a total of nine flights in two routes. A No. 11 Operational Base Unit is inside the premises to support the RAAF Aircraft using the airfield. A Skydiving Center was officially built in 2001 to serve people and tourists from Moruya. The airport which is also an aerodrome is established in an extensive beach ridge plane. It is near the cities of Batemans Bay, Mogo and Batehaven.
