Naval Center, Buenos Aires, Argentina
The Naval Center is a popular sports club, and its building in Buenos Aires is a known landmark in the area at present. It was established in 1882 by a group of officers of the Argentine Navy and thus has been operating for more than 130 years now. The center has a rugby union team which plays in one of the URBA league system’s division, Primera C. The sports club also supports its own field hockey team, which is an affiliate of the Buenos Aires Hockey Association. Gymnastics, karate, football, tennis, and swimming are only some of the sports the club also supports. Today, Naval Centre is operating four facilities in the province; Sede Central, Sede Olivos, Sede Nunez, and Sede Tigre.
