Young Airport – NGA Young
Young Airport is a privately-owned airport located in the town of Young in New South Wales, Australia. Young is known as the Cherry Capital of the Australia and host the annual National Cherry Festival held every first week of December. The airport bears an IATA code of NGA and serves the town of Young and its nearby town of Cowra. Young Airport is owned and managed by Hilltops Council, a local government sector in the region of South West Slopes.

Young Airport dwells in an altitude of 386 meters with a single designated 1/19 asphalt runway measuring 4,000 feet long. The airport has one recorded accident that happened on June 11, 1993 when Monarch Airlines 301 coming from Sydney bound to Cootamundra crashed from the airport while attempting to land on the runway, taking the lives of all seven boarded passengers. Based on the investigation, the aircraft has no autopilot features and have violated many flying regulations.
