GauAirpot – NGI Ngau, Fiji
Gau Airport using the IATA three-letter code NGI is an airport on one of the outer islands of Fiji, Gau Island (also known as Ngau) on Lomaiviti archipelago, the fifth largest in the South Pacific country. The airport is operated by Airports Fiji Limited, a fully-owned government commercial company that also operates 14 other public airports in the country. Located in an off-the-beaten path part of the island, the airport offers flights to inter-island destinations as well as charter services.

NGI-Gau Airport is a domestic airport with a no-fuss, small-scale and lean operation. It offers limited scheduled flights to Suva, Fiji’s capital by way of local airline, Northern Air. The airport also provides daily flights to Levuka and weekly flights to Koro plus the occasional inter-island flights. The airport has an elevation of 50 feet above mean sea level. It has one airstrip which receives flights coming from the Nausori International Airport. Wakaya Island, a popular privately owned island in the Lomaiviti Archipelago is a tourist destination within close proximity to the airport.
