Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport is located in Ndola, Namibia near the borders of Congo and within Copperbelt Province of the northern regions of Zambia. Originally known as Ndola Airport, its current name was given in 2011 as a tribute to one of the former Vice President of the country, Simon Kapwepwe. The airport currently handles both international and domestic flights for both passengers and cargo in the surrounding cities on the Copperbelt Province.
