Quetzalcóatl International Airport is also known by another name, the Nuevo Laredo International Airport. It is an international airport in Mexico and is situated close the US-Mexico border. The airport handles both national and international flights for Neuvo Laredo.

Aeromexico Connect and Magni airlines operate in the NLD. The airport offers limited services for now with the Aeromexico Connect solely serving connections to the capital of Mexico City. The airport is operated by Aeropuertos y Servicios Auxiliares, one of the 20 that the group operates. The international airport serves more than just handle passengers; it is also strategic because Laredo is the considered the busiest inland port in the United States. As of 2018, the airport handled as much as 63,576 passengers.
