Mykolaiv International Airport – NLV Mykolaiv, Ukraine
Mykolaiv International Airport is an air terminal complex in Mykolaiv (or Nikolaev) located in Mykolaiv, a city near the Black Sea in southern Ukraine. Also known as Nikolaev Airport, hence its IATA code is NLV. It is considered one of the biggest and most technically equipped airports in the south of the country. It was established as a passenger airport in 1960 but the terminal was only built in 1975. Since 2014, the turnover for processing passengers is 300 persons per hour.

NLV-Mykolaiv Airport had been licensed to accept and handle aircraft from other countries in 1992 and one year after it received its certificate as an airport for internal flights in the USSR. The airport is categorized as Class Bairport with its modern runway ready to receive planes with landing weight of up to 220 metric tons as well as the Airbus 310. The Ukrainian SkyUp Airlines also offers seasonal charter flights to Antalya and Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt. The airport is conveniently located only a short distance away from the bustling shipbuilding city of Mykolaiv and its environs.
