North Palmetto Point: A Small, Quaint Town in Eleuthera
North Palmetto Point, BS, is one of the two small communities in Palmetto Point. Both communities are often referred to simply as “The Point,” which is one of the hidden jewels of Eleuthera Island. The northern part of The Point is a small town where you will find fewer hotels or other accommodations. The nearest airport to the town is Governors Harbour Airport (GHB), around 15 miles away.
Best Time to Visit
The town has mostly hot weather with a fair chance of rain throughout the year. If you want to visit here at the warmest time, that would be July, August, and September. The busiest time for tourists is also in July, then December and February. North Palmetto Point hotels will likely have increased rates if you visit during these months. November is less busy, so prices will most probably be less high then.
